Someone has rightly quoted that “Necessity is the mother of invention.” In the wake of the new-age professionals embarking on their career paths intending to create a difference and make an impression, there is an imperative need for the nextgen professionals to take up the mantle from their predecessors. It is now the time for us to, the professionals of the upcoming decades to take up the lead and move together to bring about a revolution in the way we think and the way we act. Today, the fact which explicitly remains before us is that, in the trying times which this highly globalised and competitive business environment has presented before us, there would only be the survival of the fittest. Therefore, in order to survive such challenging times in which we are living in, we have to be the change we want to see around us.
When the youth converge, there’s more than what m/eets the eye. Because then, its not just the clash of minds, but there is also the clash of ideologies. Change being the only thing which remains constant, there is an urgent need for the professional youth fraternity to be proactive in keeping themselves abreast and of the diverse for of opportunities that lay before them in terms of the areas of work in which they can explore and reap rich dividends in the process. In these tough times, it would be those youth professionals who are able to see the opportunities out of the adversities and explore thereupon to accept the challenges which the opportunities have on offer, who can only survive and sustain in such business conditions. Undoubtedly, in striving towards excellence, we have to carve out niche areas and put our potential to the best possible use so as to strike the best bargain under the circumstances. And in the march towards excellence, the professional youth needs to be shown the right direction so that they can move with the right focus in their desired field of specialization on the paths treaded by their experienced counterparts.
At this juncture arises the need for the youth professionals to come together on one single platform and know each other well, share raw and innovative ideas and take the steps ahead in the right direction in bringing about a transformation in the thought patterns and consequent actions. To make this pursuit successful, it becomes imperative for the professionals who are the stalwarts in their own fields of specialization to come


forward and give a shape to the raw ideas which are born in the raw professional minds. It is also believed that it would be matter of a highest degree of social responsibility for the senior professionals representing the members of the various professional institutes form all over the globe to join hands with the young aspiring professionals in order to give them a shape and build up the foundation on which the skyscrapers of successful and responsible professional citizens can be raised. This would enable the complete fraternity of professionals to stand out with their heads held high.
Our young Indian cricket tem has presented before the world in general, and the professional fraternity in particular, a vivid example of the heights of success which can be achieved when there is a perfect blend of youth and experience. Such integration brings out synergic benefits and generates phenomenal results. Therefore, we need to take lessons from such winning teams in order to bring together the raw and professional minds so that the professionals of the upcoming five decades are able to stand our and outperform their predecessors of the past five decades.
The need for such convergence was felt among a group of youth professionals on account of the fact that almost all the professional qualifications the world over are offered in the distance learning format. Therefore, the youth professionals hardly get an opportunity to come across the nuances of the practical aspects what is being taught in the books. The articleship/internship which forms part of the complete package of the qualification is a very formal exercise where the youth professionals do not get a chance to come to terms with the diverse forms of professional opportunities which lay before them once they have acquired the qualification. Various intricate practical issues too remain in the hindsight which needs to be resolved in the larger professional interest of the youth professionals.
In the pursuit of fulfilling the aspirations of the upcoming young professional brigade which is moving ahead with such pace, it has been planned to give shape to the ideas expressed above. In furtherance of such pursuit of ours, we intend to bring forth the committed youth professionals intending to leave a lasting impression on the state of affairs and our mentors, the senior professionals who have stood the test of times on one single platform where a fruitful exchange of ideas and diverse aspects of knowledge takes place in the mutual benefit of each stakeholder being part of the initiative. We intend to


have a cross-section of mentors encompassing the professionals engaged in practice in the diverse forms of specialization and the professionals chairing important positions in the various industry sectors and the Government offices. This would give a holistic coverage of the complete gamut of the professional expertise converging on one single platform, and it would be for the youth professionals to leverage on the wealth of experience of the experts from our very own professional fraternity.

Some of the salient features of the forum shall be:


- It shall be open for all the committed youth professionals embarking on their
career paths who intend to explore into the various professional fields of
specialization. They may be the students pursuing the various qualifications and
those who have recently qualified such courses.
- It shall bring about a fusion of the youth and the mature professional minds.
- It would create a win-win situation being in the mutual benefit of every
stakeholder being part of the initiative.
- The participation would be on a completely voluntary basis, both on the part of
the youth professionals and the mentors.
- It would enable the youth professionals to recognize their true worth and decide as to what would enable them to put their potential to the best possible use. -It would aim at igniting a spirit of entrepreneurship among the youth professionals to start up their own professional ventures.
- It would enable the youth and the experienced to converge and discuss on various knowledge-based subjects of professional importance as part of the periodical discussion forums being organized.
- It would aim at empowering women professionals to come forth, explore and excel in their own fields of interest so as to make optimum use of their potential. -It would fulfill the urgent need of bridging the gap between the darkness among
the young aspiring professionals of not knowing what they would end up doing once they qualify their respective professionals courses and the diverse opportunities which are available for a modern day professional in this era.
